Coaching is a forward-focused, action-oriented partnership designed to help you achieve meaningful goals and unlock your full potential. As your coach, I work with you in the present and toward the future — helping you gain clarity, build momentum, and take intentional steps toward the life or career you want.
Coaching is centered on the question: "How do I get from where I am to where I want to be?"
Coaching can help you:
Coaching and therapy are complementary but distinct. Think of the difference this way: a therapist is like a physician specializing in sports medicine — trained to diagnose and treat injury, illness, and deeper dysfunction. A coach is like a skilled athletic trainer — working with an essentially healthy individual to improve performance, fitness, and results.
Both draw from a shared body of knowledge about human behavior and growth, but they serve different purposes and populations.
Coaching
Therapy
Coaching is designed for individuals who are fundamentally well and ready to grow. You don't need to be struggling — in fact, many of the most successful people in the world use coaches as a tool for continued growth and peak performance.
Coaching is a great fit if you:
As your coach, I am committed to your wellbeing — which means I will always be honest with you about the limits of coaching. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment, and I hold a firm ethical responsibility to refer clients to a therapist or other qualified professional when their needs fall outside the scope of coaching.
Therapy is likely the more appropriate first step if you are experiencing:
This is not a closed door — it is a compassionate redirection. Coaching and therapy can work powerfully together, and many clients benefit from both simultaneously. If you’re unsure which is right for you, I’m always happy to have an honest conversation.
If you are ready to move forward — to clarify what you want, build on your strengths, and take meaningful action — coaching may be exactly the right fit. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be ready to grow.
Some of the most successful, fulfilled people in the world work with coaches — not because something is wrong, but because they are committed to becoming their best selves. Coaching creates a dedicated space for you to think clearly, act intentionally, and show up fully in your life and work. The results can be remarkable.
